Obituary

Larned - Adrian Walter Fisher, 91, died August 12, 2009 at the Country Place Senior Living, Larned.

He was born May 4, 1918 in Topeka, Kansas. The son of James Walter and M. Naoma Polley Fisher; he was a retired Pipe Fitter for the State of Kansas and a Mechanical Consultant in Natural Gas and Oil Production.

On April 8, 1960 he married Gertrude Marie Sprout in Alva, Oklahoma. She died March 28, 2009.

He was an Army Veteran.

Survivors include: a sister; Lois Marie Okerstrom, El Cerrito, California, two grandchildren, Debra Cauble and Husband Merrill and David Sprout, both of Larned, three great grandchildren, and three nephews, Bill Wallace and wife Janet, Waco, TX, Norman and Sherie Fisher, Kansas City and Bob and Lynn Fisher, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by; a step-son, Leonard E. Sprout, a brother, Wesley H. Fisher, and a sister, Evelyn Wallace.

Graveside Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Larned Cemetery with Pastor Dan Lundgren presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
