Larned – Alice Jean Seltman, 99, passed away March 27, 2016 at Diversicare of Larned.
She was born January 24, 1917 in Pawnee Rock, the daughter of Vernon (Pete) and Thelma Williams Daniels. A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker and a retired Occupational Therapist from the Larned State Hospital.
She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Lincoln Banner E.H.U., Sunflower Club E.H.U. and the Li-ar-mu Club, all of Larned.
On September 22, 1935, she married Albert August Seltman in Rozel. He passed away January 7, 2000.
Survivors include: two sons, Scott (Diane) Seltman, Larned and Kent Seltman, Spokane, Washington, a daughter, Linda (Dave) Bryan, Overland Park; two daughters-in-law, Candy and Colleen; eleven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Alan and John Seltman; a brother, Pete Daniels and a daughter-in-law, Kristine Seltman.
Memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 28th, 2016, at the Larned United Methodist Church, Larned. Please join the family for refreshments following the service in the fellowship hall at the church. A private family inurnment will be at a later date.
