Alma Dean (Ringeisen) Bauer, 93, of Larned, Kansas passed away on October 21, 2024 at Sunshine Meadows in Buhler, KS.

Alma (Amy) was born in Sterling, KS on December 15, 1930 to Theodosia (Warden) Ringeisen and Arthur Ringeisen.  Arthur and "Dosia" ran a bakery in Sterling, KS.

Amy graduated from Sterling High School and attended Sterling College.

After Arthur's death "Dosia" married Cleve Wertz and the family later moved to Larned, KS, where they ran the Midway Market.

Amy worked at Doerrs in the record department.  She met Harold Bauer and after he returned from the service they were married.  They enjoyed fifty-five years of marriage before Harold died in 2008.  Harold worked for the City of Larned and Amy stayed home and helped raise their four children.  Mom and Dad enjoyed going to auctions and yard sales, card club get togethers and senior trips.

Amy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold, two sisters, Edra and June; daughter Julee and grandson Michael.

She is survived by their children Susan Ward, Lynda (Steven) Murphy and James Bauer; five granddaughters and three grandsons: Andilyn Corbitt (Megan Burgess), Jennifer Corbitt, Mark (Kerry) Bauer, Chelsea (Ryder) Eakin, Paige (Alex) Nuss, April Bilbrey, Justin (Janet) Hammond, Jessie (Lynn) Miller, Eathan Hammond, Sarah (Josh) Stalder and twenty-two great grandchildren.

The family will have a memorial graveside service 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 1, 2024 at Larned Cemetery with David Clapham presiding.
