Larned – Andrea Aurandt Stewart, 68, passed away February 21, 2016, at her home in Larned.
She was born April 25, 1947, in Roaring Springs, Pennsylvania, the daughter of William C. and Iva Jean Ritchey Aurandt. She moved from Allen, Texas to Larned, Kansas in 2005, where she retired in 2010 from being a secretary.
She was a member of the Larned Assembly of God Church where she worked with the youth. She was also a member of the PEO, Pawnee Valley Community Hospital Auxiliary, Pride, community garden and The Knitwits (knitting group at the library), all of Larned.
On October 29, 1979, she married Jack I. Stewart, in Stafford, Texas. He survives.
Other survivors include: three brothers, Carl Aurandt, Tansfer, Pennsylvania, Floyd Aurandt, East Freedom Pennsylvia, Harold Aurandt, Corbin, Kentucky; a sister, Jane Steele, Brownsburg, Indiana; many nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces and great-great nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, George Aurandt and a sister, Rowena Hugar.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, at the Assembly of God Church, Larned, with Rev. Ryan Webster presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Cremation will follow the service.
