Larned - Arthur B. Dick , 67, passed away April 15, 2018 at his home, Larned.

He was born October 4, 1950 in Larned, the son of Carl Arthur and Marian Ruth Clawson Dick.  He was a lifetime Larned resident and worked for Tabler Furniture, since 1970, where he performed many different duties and was a treasured member of the Tabler Furniture family.

Art did a lot of volunteer work, enjoyed teaching kids' basketball and baseball, taking them to ballgames and was active in the local Big Brothers and Big Sisters program.  He would write to colleges and professional sports teams to get autographed pictures and posters to share with the kids. Art was an avid KU fan, loved to write poetry and tell jokes.

Survivors include; a brother, Clay (Diana) Sherman, Mason City, IA; a sister, Shirley Treas, Salina, KS; an aunt, Maxine Yeager, Larned, KS and several Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Beckwith Mortuary with Pastor Damon Bradley presiding. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in the Larned Cemetery.
