Larned – Baldomera (Mary) Del Hierro, 85, passed away April 2, 2018 at Diversicare of Larned.
She was born February 27, 1933 in Pawnee Rock, KS, the daughter of Cirilo Lopez and Josefa Marquez Lemuz, living in Larned for the past 6 years, she moved from San Pedro, CA. She was a very proud Air Force wife, living in several states in the U.S., Okinawa and Japan.
She was a devoted member of the Catholic Church. She was a caregiver for many, years she loved music, singing, family gatherings, crocheting, bingo and had a great sense of humor.
On April 19, 1952 she married Leo Roberto Del Hierro in Larned, Kansas. He died July 11, 1993.
Survivors include: two sons, Leo Roberto Jr. and Mark Cecil Del Hierro, both of San Pedro, CA;
three daughters, Diana (Pat) Kelly, Paso Robles, CA, Mary Jean Del Hierro, San Pedro, CA, Annette (Gilbert) Herrera, Rancho Pales Verdes, CA; three brothers, Tony (Linda) Lemuz and Isaac (Sherry) Lemuz, both of Larned, KS, Bobby Lemuz, Rozel, KS; three sisters, Angela Rayla, Louise Pierce, Helen Asher, all of Great Bend, KS; two sisters-in-law, Dana Lemuz, Larned, Clara Lemuz, Topeka; ten grandchildren, Crystal, Dino, David, Chris, Isaac, Sara, Gilbert, Brittany, Ryan, Joshua and six great grandchildren, Leah, Anthony, Cynthia, Jax, Johnny and Jimmy.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Laurence, Jesse, Frank, Gonsalo (Steve) Lemuz and a sister, Ramona Palleschi.
Vigil and rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned, with father Bernard Felix presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Beckwith Mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned.
