Obituary

Barbara Ann Ludlow was the first child of Ralph and Lois (Fairchild) Dick born on April 24, 1948 in Great Bend Kansas.  She inherited her father's striking blue eyes and her mother's gift of cooking.  Barbara would later become a sister to Janelle whom she forced dance lessons upon throughout their lives growing up . She woul d attend school in Larned and would graduate with her class in 1967.  While out on a week end dragging the gut with girlfriends, she would meet Lloyd David Ludlow . She told her mom after their first meeting "I meet the man I'm going to marry" and she did Feb 5 1967 and what a beautiful bride she was. David would go on to join the US Army in 1971 and she took on the role as a soldier's wife for 19 years until his death in December 1988.  Barbara enjoyed shopping, traveling, and bowling.  She also loved all animals great and small.  It wasn't a surprise for her to go out on an errand and return home with a cat... dog. Or even a Guinea pig.  She had three daughters Shelly Dacamara (Roberto) Shela Stewart (Tracy) and her Texas Tornado Kelly Tippie .  Her daughters blessed her with 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
