Betty L. Billus' Obituary
Pawnee Rock- Betty L. Billus, 78, passed away May 2, 2017 at Diversicare of Larned.
She was born January 21, 1939 in Rogers, AR. the daughter of Burl and Cleva Dean Schell. A long time area resident she was a Bank teller, Bookkeeper and Business Owner.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Pawnee Rock and Desk & Derrick of Great Bend.
She married Jack H. Parret and he passed away June 17, 1988 then on October 5, 1990 in Great Bend, KS. she married Joe Billus. He survives.
Survivors include: one son Tim (Becky) Parret, Pawnee Rock, KS.; two brothers, Curt (Connie) Schell, Derby, KS. and David (Donna) Schell, Ulysses, KS; two sisters, Sara (Carl) Mostrom, Great Bend, KS., Debbie (Jim) Bowman, Albert, KS., four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Kathy Hinkel and one granddaughter, Kayla Parret.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial graveside service will be held Friday at 11:00 am at the Pawnee Rock Cemetery with Pastor John Thomas presiding. Visitation will be from 9 am to 8 pm Wednesday and Thursday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned.
Memorials may be given to the Kindred Hospice in care of Beckwith Mortuary, PO Box 477, Larned, KS. 67550
