Obituary

Jetmore – Betty E. Glunt, 92, died December 28, 2007, at Kearny County Hospital, Lakin.

She was born April 1, 1915 at Norfolk, Nebraska, the daughter of Marvin and Natalie Conard Copley. A longtime Hodgeman County resident, she was a farm wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She belonged to the United Presbyterian Church and the United Presbyterian Women, Jetmore. Her hobbies were her grandchildren and great grandchildren's activities.

On March 8, 1936, she married Cecil Glunt in Flagler, Colorado. He died December 15, 1988.

Survivors include: a son, Robert Glunt and wife Betsy, Holcomb; a daughter, Barbara Balman and husband Bruce, Inman; two sisters, Esther Kapsch, Fulton, Missouri, Laura Kemp, Colorado Springs, Colorado; four grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Dave, Albert and Lewis Copley; two sisters, Naomi Cowen and Doris Baker.

Funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday at the United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore, with Rev. Mark Durham presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and until 11:00 a.m. Monday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore, in care of the funeral home.
