Larned  - Betty Marie Huenergardt, 92, passed away April 19, 2020 at the William Newton Hospital, Winfield, Kansas.

She was born January 21, 1928 in Albert, Kansas the daughter of Otto John Sr. and Ellen Arnold Oetken.  A longtime resident of Barton and Rush Counties, moving to Winfield in 2013.  She was a homemaker an awesome wife, mother and grandmother.

She was a member of the La Crosse Seventh Day Adventist Church.

On August 31, 1957 she married Maurice Huenergardt in Raton, New Mexico; he passed away May 19, 2004.

Survivors include; four daughters; Sharon (Ron) Fuller, Wichita, Gwen Huenergardt, California, Maureen Huenergardt, Great Bend and Heidi (Darin) Blake, Winfield and one grandson Blake Beach Huenergardt Wareham.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, a brother, Otto Oetken Jr. and a sister, Violetta Karst.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2020 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned with Bishop Bruce Blake presiding.  Inurnment will follow at Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery, Bison, Kansas.
