Betty Jean Lucas' Obituary
Jetmore – Betty Jean Lucas, 92, passed away January 14, 2015 at the Hodgeman County Health Center, Jetmore.
She was born February 26, 1922 in Stockton, the daughter of Lum W. and Bessie Lingenfelter Raynor. A longtime area resident, she was the superintendent for the Jetmore Housing.
She was a member of the United Methodist church, Eastern Star and E.S.A., all of Jetmore.
On December 15, 1939, she married Paul W. Lucas in Stockton. He passed away July 9, 1998.
Survivors include: two sons, Ted Lucas (Patricia Jackson), Payson, Arizona and Richard Lucas, Jetmore; two daughters, Myrna Lee Delker, Jetmore and Dr. Paula Jo (Ron) Reimer, Belfast, Ireland; a sister, Joan Carmicheal, Jetmore; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant brother, George Raynor and a sister, Maxine Meyers.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be given to the Haun Museum or the Prairie Home Health, both in care of Beckwith Funeral Home, Box 663 Jetmore, Ks 67854.
