Larned  - Betty Joan Roberts, 91, passed away January 31, 2025 at Solaris Healthcare in Pensacola, FL.

She was born June 21, 1933 in Greensburg, the daughter of Guy Antone and Alice Mora Koehn Welsch.  A lifetime area resident she worked in Food Service at USD #502.

She was of the Christian faith; was an avid quilter, loved to cook, read cookbooks and watch the Price is Right.

On June 8, 1952 she married Reuben Lee Roberts in Lewis, Kansas.  He passed away July 7, 2001.

Survivors include; son Kelly (Kelly) Roberts, Larned; two daughters, Tona (Boyd) King, Pensacola, FL and Chari (Dan) Peak, Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Alice Welsch; her husband;  a sister, Murna Dene McAbier and a nephew, Rickey McAbier.

Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2025 at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, with Pastor Jarred Smith presiding.  Burial will be in Trotter Cemetery, Lewis, Kansas.
