Belpre – Billie Margaret Sette, 94, died October 19, 2008 at Dillon Living Center, Hutchinson.
She was born July 22, 1914 in Edwards County, Kansas, the daughter of Gus and Cecelia Pappenfoos Johnson. A lifetime Belpre resident she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Belpre United Methodist Church, EHU, and United Methodist Women, all of Belpre. She was a 1932 Graduate of Belpre High School.
On August 26, 1936, she married Morris Earl Sette at Macksville, Kansas. He died February 3, 1992.
Survivors include: a daughter, Marlene Wagner and husband Elmer; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Jean Turner; and a brother, Charles Edward Johnson.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Belpre Cemetery, Belpre with Pastor Dennis Scheibmeier presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned.
