Larned - Blanche Georgia Hagerman, 95, passed away May 6, 2015 at the Lexington Park Nursing Home, Topeka, Kansas.
She was born October 22, 1919 in Pawnee County, Kansas; the daughter of Charles and Stephina Svatos Vratil ; she lived in Rush County and Larned until 1998, moving to Manhattan in 1998 and later moving to Topeka. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church and a past member of the St. Joseph Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, both of Larned. She loved to quilt and cross stitch.
On September 3, 1946 she married Ernest Hagerman in Rush County, Kansas. He passed away November 15, 1985.
Survivors include; a daughter Judith Bowman & Companion Gary Matheny, Tecumseh, KS; a brother, Floyd Vratil, Pratt; two grandchildren, Brandon (Jennifer) Bowman, Overland Park, KS and Stephine Bowman, Lawrence and two great grandchildren, Bret Bowman and Elliott Bowman, both of Overland Park, KS.
She was preceded in death by; eight brothers, Fred, Otto, Harry, Joe, Herman, Elmer, Earl and Donald and three sisters, Ellen Raymer Lewis, Esther Korf and Sylvia DeRoo.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Mark Lovett presiding. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned, Kansas.
