Jetmore - Bobbie Jean Bradshaw, 86, passed away February 4, 2025 in Roanoke, Texas.
She was born November 11, 1938 in McGehee, AR; the daughter of Abe and Mary Washington Reed. A longtime area resident, she was a homemaker and farmed alongside her husband for many years. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, raising chickens, ducks, and cattle. She also worked outside the home as a Certified Nurse Assistant and a Medication Aide.
Bobbie was an Evangelist Missionary of the Riverside Church of God in Christ in Garden City, KS. She also served as an Assistant District Missionary in the J.O. Patterson District of the Kansas Southwest Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction.
In May of 1953 she married Wilburn O. Bradshaw in Jetmore, KS. He passed away September 24, 2019. They were married for 66 years.
Survivors include six sons and three daughters: Roger (Caroline) Bradshaw, Garden City, KS; Terry (Stephanie) Bradshaw, Olathe, KS; Vicki (Clinton) Jamison, Lenexa, KS; Ralph Bradshaw, Valley Center, KS; Lisa (Charlie) Dickey, Stillwater, OK; Paula (McArthur) Thompson, Roanoke, TX; Marc (Sandy) Bradshaw, Jetmore, KS; Matthew (Monica) Bradshaw, Jetmore, KS; Jonathan (Tiffany) Bradshaw, St. Louis, MO; five sisters, Varna (Bunny) Johnson, Vera Reed, Betty Reed, Linda Reed, all of Great Bend, KS, and Lani Reed, Dallas, TX; five brothers, Sonny Reed, Tommy Reed, both of Wichita, KS, Abe Reed Jr., Houston, TX; Kendale Reed and Willie Reed, both of Great Bend, KS, thirty-three grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Wilburn O. Bradshaw Jr, Timothy Bradshaw, Larry Bradshaw; sister, Stella Reed; two granddaughters and one grandson.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, February 13, 2025 at the United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore, KS with Pastor Marc Bradshaw and Pastor Terry Bradshaw presiding. Services will be viewable via Facebook Live at www.facebook.com/beckwithmortuary. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore, KS and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church before the service. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore, KS.
