Jetmore – Brian J. Geier, 49, passed May 5, 2015 at Via Christi Hospital St. Francis, Wichita.
He was born June 6, 1965 at Garden City, the son of Alexander Anthony and Rosa Lena Billinger Geier. He was a resident of Jetmore since 1994, moving from Garden City. He was a Maintenance Mechanic for Cargill Meat Solutions in Dodge City.
He was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church and was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus, both of Jetmore.
On June 1, 1985, he married Annette R. Strong in Garden City. She survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Christian Geier, Jetmore; two daughters, Alycen (Tyler) Isenbart, Dodge City and Kaitlyn Geier, Jetmore; five brothers, John, Dodge City, Duane, Ordway, CO, Greg, Galen and Mikel, all of Garden City; two sisters, Roseanne Minet, Sand Springs, OK and Diane Oglesby, Ordway, CO; two grandsons, Kason Isenbart and Kellen Isenbart.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Alex Geier Jr. and a sister, Karen Geier.
Vigil will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Jetmore. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the church, with Father Maurice Cummings presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
Memorials may be given to the Christian Geier College Fund in care of Beckwith Funeral Home, Box 663 Jetmore, KS 67854.
