Larned  - Bruce Alan Blount, 63, passed away November 27, 2019 in Elk Grove, Illinois.

He was born March 19, 1956 in Laughlin, Texas; the son of Wayne Rogers and Jean Kemp Blount.  He served in the United States Navy for over 20 years, retiring in 2004.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles and taught motorcycle safety courses in Maryland; was an avid bass guitar player and was a big Jayhawk fan.

Survivors include; his mother, Jean Blount, Parker, Colorado; a daughter, Anastasia (Jett) Meenach, Hampstead, North Carolina; a sister, Lisa (Scott) Spjuth, Parker, Colorado and two grandchildren, JJ Meenach and AubreyKate Meenach.

Memorial graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. October 11, at Larned Cemetery with Robert Sallee presiding.
