C. Verdell Oliverson, 75, died, August 17, 2006 at St. Francis Health Center, Topeka, Kansas.
She was born October 5, 1930, in St. Rose Hospital, Great Bend, KS, the daughter of Velda Foster Pfister and the late Cecis A. Pfister. Verdell taught school for eight years. After marrying Jim she devoted her time to her family. Throughout the course of their marriage, Verdell and Jim traveled throughout the United States for a number of years.
On January 26, 1955, she married Jim Oliverson, at Nickerson, Kansas. He survives.
Other survivors include: Her mother, Velda Pfister of Larned, her daughter Kimberly (Kim) Murrison from Louisville, Kentucky, and two Grandchildren, Cody and Alicia (Ali) Murrison.
She was preceded in death by: Her father, Cecil Pfister.
Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, with the Pastor Tim Ault-Duell presiding. Cremation has taken place.
Memorials may be sent to the Kansas State Veterinary Department or the American Heart Association, in care of the Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
