Charles V. Erdman Sr., died, September 13, 2007 at the St. Joseph Memorial Hospital, Larned
He was born June, 20, 1926 in Oklahoma. A lifetime area resident he was a retired Power Plant operator for the Larned State Hospital and also worked in the maintenance department for the First State Bank.
He was a member of the First Christian Church and the Lions Club both of Larned.
On October 17, 1959, he married Luenetta M. Erdman at Kinsley. She died April 8, 1999.
Survivors include: a son, Charles V. Erdman Jr., Wichita, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was also preceded in death by; a daughter, Deanna Erdman, a brother, Norman Erdman and a sister, Billie Frazier.
Graveside Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Larned Cemetery with the Pastor Dan Lundgren presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
