Jetmore – Charles S. Stallings, 81 , died April 20, 2014 at the Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore.

He was born March 17, 1933, in Nida, Oklahoma, the son of Sol and Elizabeth Richardson Stallings. A longtime area resident, he was a farmer/stockman.

He was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Jetmore

On December 31, 1951, he married Marjorie Anderson in Jetmore. She survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Stanton Stallings and wife Renee, Jetmore; two daughters, Glenda Stallings, Kansas City, Missouri and Charlene Elam and husband Edward, Dodge City; a brother, Clarence Stallings, Tishomingo, Oklahoma; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by six brothers, Floyd, Lewis, Everett, Junior, Cecil and Ted; a sister, Rogean Locke

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Jetmore, with Father Bob Schremmer presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
