Chris Cabot Crane's Obituary
Larned - Chris Crane, 56, died April 2, 2009 of Multiple System Atrophy at his home.
He was born July 5, 1952 in Larned, the son of A.G. and Gloria A. Umberger Crane. He was a Welder and Farmer.
He Graduated from Larned High School in 1970, attended KSU, he was an SSDC Member, he served on the School Board from 1989 – 1993, and was president in 1992, and also was a former Zoning Board member.
On May 19, 1973 he married Kathie D. Vratil at Larned. She survives.
Other survivors include; a son, Shawn and wife Karen, Great Bend; daughter, Jessica Conner and husband Joshua, Lawrence; two brothers, Alan, Larned and David, Great Bend; and two grandchildren, Jacob Crane and Brandon Crane.
Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Doyle Smith presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in the Point View Cemetery, Radium.
