Hanston – Clarence N. (Pete) Webster, 86, died June 13, 2011 at the Hamilton County Hospital in Syracuse, Kansas.
He was born March 22, 1925 at Burdett, Kansas, the son of Dewey and Anna Beil Webster, He was a Farmer and Mechanic. He moved from Hanston to Syracuse a Year and half ago.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Hanston Volunteer Fireman, Senior Center, all of Hanston, also a 10 gallon Blood Donor.
On November 24, 1946, he married Myrna Steffen, at Kinsley. She survives.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Ardis Alexander and husband Clifford, Satanta; Ardeen Webster, Syracuse; two granddaughters, Sidra Kraemer, and husband Marcus, Satanta; Erika Alexander, Moore, OK.;
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Francis and Dewey Jr. one sister, Mary Kathleen Owen.
Funeral will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday at the United Methodist Church, Hanston, with the Rev. Dennis Fulton presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and Thursday, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Brown's Grove Cemetery, Burdett, Kansas.
