Garfield - Clarence Robert "Bob" Brack,84, passed away peacefully at home August 3, 2016.
He was born December 4, 1931 in Larned, the son of Clarence Raymond Brack and Esther W. Eikmeier. A lifetime area resident, he was a retired farmer and a rural mail carrier.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean War from 1951-1958. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned and the American Legion, Garfield.
On November 20, 1956 he married Corrine J. Schartz. She survives.
Other survivors include; five daughters; Denise Schrader (Monte), Midland, TX, Lisa Graver (Kent), Great Bend, Joni Geiman (Lonny), Hutchinson, Terri Ryan (Jerry), Russell and Gayle Maltby (Junior), Aline, OK; twelve grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, two great grandchildren; one half-sister, Pat Henderson, Federal Way, WA; one step-sister, Connie Ratliff, Larned; two step-brothers, Dr. William Dickey, Parker, CO and Dr. Gary Dickey, Littleton, CO.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Warren Stecklein presiding. Vigil Service and rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Monday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned. Friends may sign the register, 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Cremation has taken place and Inurnment will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned, Kansas with military graveside rites.
