Dodge City – Concha M. Martinez, 81, died March 26, 2006, at Western Plains Regional Medical Center, Dodge City.
She was born December 7, 1924 at Valley Junction, Iowa. The daughter of Estanislao and Juana Martinez Moreno. She was a Seamstress and Homemaker.
She was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City.
On October 11, 1944 she married Juan Martinez in Leon, Gto. Mexico, He died April 18, 1974.
Survivors include: one brother, Candido Moreno, El Paso, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Cansuelo Martinez, one brother David Moreno, one sister Sofia Moreno.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City, with Father Wesley Schawe presiding. Vigil service will be at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Church. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City.
