Larned – Connie Loreen Burger, 55, died October 28, 2009 at Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita.
She was born May 1, 1954 in McPherson, Kansas, the daughter of Slim and Bonnie Bee Buller Elder. A Larned resident since 1973 moving from McPherson, she was the Head Cook at the Larned Middle School.
On October 29, 1971 she married Kennith Leon Burger. He died June 18, 2009.
Survivors include: two sons, Tyson and wife Keri, Larned, Travis, Garfield; a daughter, Sheila Martin and husband Paul, Great Bend; two brothers, Murray Elder, Houston, Texas, Kenny Elder, Salina; two sisters, Belinda Fouse, Manhattan, Cindy Stinson, Lubbock, Texas; and six grandchildren, Kelsey, Tyler, Destiney, Tristen, Dakota and Brent.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, with the Pastor Bill Fitzgerrel presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the Mortuary. Burial will be in the Garfield Cemetery, Garfield, Kansas.
