Connie L. Gilliland, 76, passed away December 27, 2024 at Hodgeman County Health Center, Jetmore.

She was born March 1, 1948 in Spearville, the daughter of Dr. George and Elizabeth Salisbury Mandeville.

A longtime area resident she was retired from Foley Equipment. She was of the Christian faith and loved fishing.

On May 1, 1981 She married Larry C. Gilliland at Dodge City; he survives.

Other survivors include: six children, Tammy (Antonio) Morales, Offerle, Rebecca (Juan) Azua, Dodge City, Larry (Amber) Gilliland, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Lee (Christopher) Mefford, Meade, Michael (Latisha) Gilliland, Ellsworth, Paul Gilliland, Hanston; twenty-nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Nathan Lawrence "Sonny" Burns Jr., Brandon Gilliland; daughter, Bobbie Gilliland; sister, Georgiana Aeschliman; brother, Joseph Mandeville; granddaughter, Alexus Dawn Dennett.

Cremation has taken place and visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2025 at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Private services will be at a later date.
