Jetmore – Corrine Marie Torrez, 68, passed away February 3, 2026 at St. Catherine Hospital Dodge City, after enduring many complications from a stroke in August of 2025.

She was born December 5, 1957 in Dodge City, the daughter of Kenneth LeRoy and Opal Marlene Demoret Eichman.  A lifetime area resident, she was a Paraprofessional and loved working with all her school kids throughout the years.  She was always so supportive of their school activities.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, where she served as a trustee, Elder and numerous committees. Corrine enjoyed drawing, reading and doing crosswords. Most of all, she loved attending, not only her own children's ballgames and school activities, but also her nieces and nephews and she cherished her time spent with family and friends.

On February 4, 1977, she married Emanuel Villa Torrez in Jetmore.  He survives.

Other survivors include: three sons, Shea Torrez, Jetmore, Chase Torrez, Dodge City and Tre' Torrez, Jetmore; two sisters, Kenda Mariche (Delane Lampe), Jetmore, Heather (Jason) Brummett, Arapaho, OK; brother, Kevin Eichman, Milford, KS; two grandchildren, Aryen Emanual Torrez, Lyla Alexie Torrez and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Anisa Suzanne Torrez.

Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2026 at United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore, with Pastor Mark Durham presiding.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore.  Inurnment will be at 1 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2026 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City.
