Garfield – Craig A. Mausolf, 56, died July 1, 2009 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, Wichita.
He was born August 15, 1952 at Great Bend, the son of Herman J. and Waneta I. Suhler Mausolf. A lifetime Pawnee Country resident he was a Licensed Mental Health Technician at the Larned State Hospital, Larned.
He was a member of the American Legion, Larned.
On December 15, 2007 he married Kristi Kay Ragan at Garfield, Kansas. She survives.
Other survivors include, his parents, Larned; two sons, Ryan, Port Orchard, Washington, Grant, Larned; two daughters, Megan Mawhirter, Larned, Lauren Mausolf, Lyons; two step-sons, Kolton Pavlu, Kolby Pavlu, both of Garfield; two step-daughters, Kayla Pavlu, Kenzi Pavlu, both of Garfield; three sisters, Cheryl Rasmussen, Jetmore, Linda Mausolf, Liberal, Amy Kemp, Panhandle, Texas; and three grandchildren.
Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2009 at the Larned State Hospital Auditorium, with Pastor Richard Langness presiding. A gathering time will be before the service at 9 a.m. at the auditorium. Navel Military Honors will be held following the Memorial service at the Garfield City Park, Garfield, Kansas.
