Jetmore – Dale Nuss, 90, passed away April 6, 2015 at the Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore.
She was born February 2, 1925 in Bazine, the daughter of Oscar Pearl and Lillie Mae Gordon Hermon. A lifetime area resident, she was a housewife/ homemaker.
She belonged to the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, American Legion Auxiliary, the Jetmore County Club and the Jetmore Senior Center, all of Jetmore. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.
In 1948 she married George Van Slagle in Ness County. He passed away in 1949. On September 4, 1950 she married Wirt B. Hayes in Great Bend. He passed away July 15, 1983. On December 19, 1985 she married Rudolph (Rudy) C. Nuss in Jetmore. He passed away August 27, 2006.
Survivors include: two sons, Randy (Barb) Slagle, Ness City and Skyler (Kelly) Hayes, Jetmore; a daughter, Adree (Tony) Jones, Dodge City; a step daughter, Sharolyn Henry, Ness City; a brother, Charlie Hermon, Claremore, OK; eight grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Lee Hermon and three sisters, Arlene McCreight, Burdean Hermon and Letha Waknitz.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m., Friday at the United Methodist Church, Jetmore, with Pastor Dennis Fulton presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
