Obituary

Sedgwick - Dale Tiday, 53, retired diesel mechanic, died June 26, at the Robert J. Dole V.A. Hospital, Wichita, Kansas.

Dale was born on March 12, 1956 in Wichita, Kansas to Don and Betty Tiday. He grew up in Larned and graduated from Larned High school and enlisted in the Army. He lived in Olathe Ks. and worked as a diesel mechanic and moved to Sedgwick upon his retirement.

Dale is survived by his mother Betty Tiday of Sedgwick; two sons; Josh Tiday and daughter-in law, Lauren, of Gardner Kansas, Aaron Tiday, of Larned; a sisters Dee Tiday and brother-in –law Doug Wilson, of Overland Park Kansas, Carol Mattson, and brother-in law, Terry of Sedgwick, Kansas; a brother, Darrel of Larned. He also leaves his beloved grandsons Alex and Maddox. He will be greatly missed and remembered for his love of family and his zest for life.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel Larned, with Rev. Mark Slattery presiding. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned, followed by a lunch at the First Southern Baptist Church, Larned.
