Daniel C. Binns, 67, passed away September 28, 2024 at Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita, KS.

He was born March 7, 1957 in Scott City, Kansas; the son of Charles and Betty Estes Binns. Daniel was a longtime Larned area resident and the head custodian at Larned High School.  He was a jack of all trades, working at the Larned State Hospital, managing apartments, and taking care of the Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed working, going to casinos, and time with family.

He was of the Christian Faith and served in the United States Marine Corps.

On January 7, 1978 he married Anna M. Kraft in Larned, Kansas.  She survives.

Other survivors include; son, Jeremy Binns, Larned; daughter, Amanda (Travis Blair) Binns, Larned; sister, Linda Brown, Lawton, OK; brother-in-law and best friend, Terry Kraft; four grandchildren, Danielle Binns, Isabella Ledesma, Tanner Locke and Christopher Gowdy; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by; his parents; sisters-in-law Karen Bronson and Wilma Evans; mother and father-in-law Annabelle and Buck Owens.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday October 7, 2024 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Larned, KS. with Reverend Jack Singer presiding. Visitation will be 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 6, 2024 at Beckwith Mortuary. Larned with family present from 5-7 p.m.
