Larned - Daniel Alan Woods, 47, died April 24, 2008 of a brain hemorrhage at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

He was born on May 2, 1960 at Clarksville, Texas the son of William O. and Lorraine (Ebertowsky) Woods.

His professions included cattle buyer, hay broker and truck driver. He loved fishing, hunting and spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by his loving family including his mother, Lorraine Woods, Larned, his brothers, William G. (Bill) and wife Sharla, Larned, James O. and wife Janice of Crossville, TN, David and wife Debra, and John all of Larned, his sister Carolyn and husband Ty Teegerstrom of Hugoton, 20 nieces and nephews and 20 great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, William O. Woods.

Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend Bill Fitzgerrel presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Cremation will take place after the funeral and burial will be in the Larned Cemetery at a later date.
