Darlene Zetta Fox, 81, passed away July 10, 2012 at the Cherry Village Nursing Home, Great Bend.
She was born May 2, 1931 in Great Bend, the daughter of Gilbert Martin and Lena Margaret Bortz Johnson. A lifetime area resident she was a Homemaker and a sales representative for Stanley Home Products.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, both of Larned.
On October 28, 1950 she married Leo Joseph Fox at Larned. He died January 2, 2001.
Survivors include; a son; Justin Fox and wife Stephani, Larned, two daughters; Sharon Fox East and friend Jim Harbour, Great Bend and Debora Fox-Johnson and husband Roger, Larned, three sisters; Mildred Booker, Amarillo, TX, Dorras Barnes, Fort Mojave, AZ and Treva Smith, Larned, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Elton Johnson.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned with Father Warren Stecklein presiding. Vigil Service will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Church. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
