Darrel C. Tiday, 68, passed away July 19, 2025 at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned. He was born February 24, 1957 in Wichita, the son of Don and Betty Shipley Tiday.

A longtime area resident, he served in the United States Navy and then worked many different types of jobs. Darrel loved trivia games, drawing, art, and was a very loving and funny guy.

Survivors include: his sister, Carol (Terry) Mattson, Sedgwick; nieces and nephews, Josh (Lauren) Tiday, Aaron (Jenny) Tiday, Ian Mattson, Kiah (Grant) Kollman and many great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dale Tiday and a sister, Dee Tiday.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of life service will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the J.A. Haas building, Larned. Private Inurnment will be in the Larned Cemetery at a later date.
