Larned – David A. Uphoff, 67, passed away October 23, 2017 at Diversicare of Larned.

He was born February 11, 1950, in San Francisco, California, the son of Henry and Rose Sporl Uphoff. He moved from Sonora, CA and has lived in Larned for the last 8 years.

He was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed playing video games, collecting coins, cooking and camping. He loved spending time with family, his cat Morri, being a jokester and helping others.

In 1992 he married Brenda Kay Bowles in Sonora, CA. She has passed away.

Survivors include: one daughters, Kellie Uphoff, Larned ; two sisters, Carol (Bob) Sallee, Houston, Texas, a brother, Robert (Eleanor) Presswood, Boulder Creek, CA;
He was preceded in death by a son, David Uphoff Jr.; three brothers, Richard Presswood, Donald Presswood, Harold Presswood and three sisters, Joan Bryant, Elizabeth Bernal and Susan Presswood.

Cremation has taken place and no service is planned at this time.
