Larned - Debra Sue Bird, 46, died September 21, 2008 at Gove County Medical Center, Quinter.
She was born March 15, 1962 at Larned, the daughter of Russell Dean and Karen Ann Everette Bird. A resident of Quinter for four months moving from Larned, she was a nurse aid.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Larned.
Survivors include: a fiancé, Jerry J. Amon, Quinter; four brothers, Russell D. Jr., Fowler, Charles R. and Randall R. both of Larned, Alan L. Garfield; step-mother, Bonnie Bird, Garfield, and an Aunt Rita Houdeshell, Quinter.
She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Traylor, mother, father, and a brother, Michael D. Bird.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned, with Pastor Ryan Webster presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday. Burial will be in the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Seward.
