Larned – Delores Elizabeth Harris, 61, passed away January 24, 2026 at her home in Larned.

She was born January 24,1964 in Larned, the daughter of Sarah Beatrice Moore. A longtime area resident, she was a MHDD at Larned State Hospital for many years.

She was a member of Escue Chapel CME Church, Larned. Delores loved to fish and could spend hours on the bank on a warm sunny day. She also loved to cook, play dominos, travel, and shop. She was a huge sports fan, especially professional wrestling, and enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bulls.

Survivors include: son, Isaiah Harris and life partner Nathan Rose, Kansas City, Missouri; brother, Galen Harris, Wichita; uncle, Bishop Moore, Larned; and numerous extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her mother Sarah Moore; sister, Juanda Burdine; grandmother, Anna Belle Brewer; and aunt, Rosa Newhouse.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2026 at Escue Chapel CME Church with Reverend Anthony Hill presiding. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2025 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned.
