Larned – Dennis Harold Carden, 84, passed away December 17, 2025 at Diversicare of Larned.

He was born December 27, 1940 in Larned, the son of Harold and Mary Jean Grandy Carden. A lifetime area resident, he was a plumber at the Larned State Hospital. He also worked in the Oilfield, was a Truck Driver and Farmhand.

He was of the Lutheran faith, member of the Garfield American Legion and served in the United States Navy. Dennis loved Ham radios and CB radios

On June 3, 1967, he married Karol Ann Carden in Larned.  She passed away November 19, 2020.

Survivors include: two daughters, Terri (James) Nauert and Elizabeth (Robert) Keller, both of Larned; six grandchildren, Justin, Jonathan and Jericah Nauert, Ayla Keller, Brandon Johnson, Brandon Keller and fourteen great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronald Carden.

Cremation has taken place and services will be announced at a later date.
