Pawnee Rock – Donald Boman, 68, died July 3, 2009 at the Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson.
He was born April 4, 1941 at Parsons, Kansas the son of Chester and Hazel Sprinkle Boman. A lifetime Pawnee County Resident he was an oil field worker and farmer.
He was a member of Bass Masters.
On October 14, 1967, he married Corine Brown at Coldwater, Kansas. She survives.
Other survivors include; two sons, Mark, Gale and wife, Shara, both of Pawnee Rock, Kansas; two daughters, Polly Baier and husband Vance, Larned, Andrea Bright and husband Toby, Rozel; a sister, Mary Ann Leivan and husband Frank, Golden City, Missouri; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister Marjorie Boman.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Radium, with Pastor Wade Russell presiding. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned.
