Larned – Donald L. Nolde, 83, passed away October 9, 2018 at Medicalodge of Kinsley, KS.

He was born April 24, 1935 in Kinsley, the son of Louis and Catherine Countryman Nolde.  A longtime area resident, he was a Custom Harvester.

He was a member of the Kinsley Christian Church, U.S. Custom Harvesters, Santa Fe Trail Center and the Tired Iron Show.

On October 22, 1982, he married Donna Tammen in Larned.  She survives.

Other survivors include: sons, Don Jr. (Jill) Nolde, Hutchinson, John (Anita) Nolde, Augusta, Mike (Jan) Nolde, McPherson, Marty (Dawn) Nolde, Larned, Louis (Amber) Nolde, Great Bend; David (Pauline) Hampton, Larned; daughters, Brenda (Brian) Johnson, Arcadia, WI, Teri Sharp, Larned, Debbie Stewart, Tacoma, WA, Stacy (Pete) DeWitt, McPherson, Dawn Diane Greenwood, Gig Harbor, WA; Dawn Strain, Ponca City, OK, Denise (Dean) Robeson, San Antonio, TX; sister, Helen Espinosa, Salina; brother, Mark Nolde, San Antonio, TX; thirty-one grandchildren and thirty-five great grandchildren.

Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, with Pastor Jarred Smith presiding.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Beckwith Mortuary.  Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned.
