Larned – Donald Roy Parde, 69, passed away July 20, 2020 at University of Kansas Health Systems Pawnee Valley Campus, Larned.

He was born August 28, 1950 in Simla, Colorado to Virgil Oscar and Evelyn Clara Ruth Fienne Parde.

Moving from Belleville, he was an area resident since 2007 and he was of the Catholic faith. He worked as an HVAC Technician. He was a member of the Belleville Fire Department for twenty-five years, an active cub scout leader, coached his son's baseball teams, and enjoyed gardening, tinkering on things, and listening to music. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

On January 1, 1975 he married Donna Rose Heskett at Belleville; she survives.

Other survivors include: five sons, Christian Parde, Concordia, Joshua (Nicol) Parde, Belleville, Matthew (Nichol Humburg) Parde, Argonia, Lucas Parde, Great Bend, Michael Parde, Larned; two sisters, Maxine Allsman, Palm Springs, California, Carol Williams, Exeter, Nebraska; six grandchildren, Zachary Parde, Mattea Parde, Caleb Parde, Jacqalyn Parde, Sidney Parde, Max Parde; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Virgil Parde.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Belleville City Park Fireman's Shelter, Belleville.
