Donald Dean Seachris, 64, passed away March 7, 2021 at Diversicare of Larned.

He was born May 30, 1956 in Kinsley, the son of Theodore "Ted" Roosevelt and Florine Maxine Rhodes Seachris.

A lifetime area resident he was a welder at Doerr Metal Products and was later an elevator operator. He was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed painting, drawing, model airplanes, fishing, and lime stone carving.

Survivors include: a daughter, Patricia (Shad) Anderson, Medicine Lodge; a sister, Betty Moore, Larned; a brother, Danny Seachris, Larned; three grandsons, Brandon, Andrew, and Devin Turner, Medicine Lodge; and two nephews, Mark Moore and John Moore, both of Larned.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Malea Seachris; a son, Christopher Seachris; and a brother, Bobby Lee Seachris.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned, with Bob Sallee presiding. Service will be viewable via Facebook Live at www.facebook.com/beckwithmortury. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2021 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned.
