Jetmore – Dorothea "Dotty" Kathryne Moore, 79, passed away May 30, 2021 at Cedar Village Long Term Care Center, Ness City.

She was born November 11, 1941 in Alamosa, CO, the daughter of Cecil and Lucy Whitman Mount.  Moving from LaJara, CO, she was a longtime area resident of Jetmore and had a Masters in Special Education where she taught for 30 years and later worked at Walmart for 8 years.

She was a member of the Jetmore United Methodist Church, Delta Kappa Gamma and Theti Pi.

In LaJara, CO, she married Richard Moore.  He passed away in 1996. In Hugo, CO, she married Walter Moore.  He passed away.

Survivors include: daughter, Sally (Scott) Kreger, Jetmore; son, Steve (Joyce) Moore, Meade; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Marian Ellen Snow.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Jetmore United Methodist Church, with Pastor Peter Mtuamwari presiding.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore.
