Dorothy Irene Boltman, 80, died May 1, 2009 at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas.
She was born March 3, 1929 in Larned, the daughter of Mern F. and Lola Belle Hager Robinson. A lifetime Larned resident, she was a cook at the Gleason Hospital.
She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church, VFW Auxiliary and Played cards at the Welcome Inn Senior Center, all of Larned. Dorothy was also a professional grandmother.
On July 17, 1949 she married Bob E. Boltman in Larned. He died June 15, 1987.
Survivors include; two sons; David W. and wife Judy, Wakarusa, Dennis and wife Carol, Great Bend, four brothers, Bob Robinson, Wray, Colorado, Jim Robinson, Keith Robinson, both of Larned, Elvin Robinson, Missouri, five sisters, Bessie Mantz, McPherson, Betty Dotson, Wichita, Donna Burns, Great Bend, Ruby Stevens, Peggy Martin, both of Larned, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by; two brothers, Elroy Robinson and Ervin Robinson.
Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the First Southern Baptist Church, Larned, with the Pastor Mark Slattery presiding. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
