Dorothy Gayle Bradford, age 81, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 9:57 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2020, at her home.  She was born November 30, 1938, in Jetmore, Kansas, the daughter of George and Mildred (Pittaway) Law.

Dorothy was a nurse's aide and was a manager for a senior citizens complex and attended the First Christian Church of Mt. Vernon.

On February 8, 1953, she married Arlyn Bradford in Jetmore, Kansas.  He preceded her in death on November 15, 2011.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Mona Gayle Berry of Mt. Vernon; four grandchildren, Ryan Bradford and his wife, Angela, Lonnie Bradford and his wife, Nikki, Aubrey Off and Jacob Berry; one brother, David Law and his wife, Juanita, of Jetmore, Kansas; one sister, Evelyn Bradford and  her husband, Don, of Pratt, Kansas, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mildred, husband, Buzz, two sons, Dale and Lonnie Bradford and one grandson, Craig Bradford.

A private family service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2020 at the United Methodist Church in Jetmore with Pastor Peter Mtuamwari presiding. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial to follow at the Fairmount Cemetery in Jetmore. Beckwith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, P.O.
