Duane Royce Pember's Obituary
Jetmore – Duane Royce Pember, 64, died August 29, 2008 at the Kiowa County Hospital, Greensburg, Kansas.
He was born September 28, 1943 at Jetmore the son of Raymond & J. Lorene Stewart Pember. He was a General Contractor.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chairman of the trustees, and a member of the Promise Keepers, all of Jetmore.
On July 2, 1964 he married Sharon Heersche at Mulvane, She survives.
Other survives include: two sons Dale Pember, of Fargo North Dakota; Keith Pember and wife Jennifer, Rose Hill; one daughter, Dora Pember, New Port Beach, California; one brother, Dennis & wife Kim Pember, Emporia; two sisters, Carol Harfmann & husband Eric, Hays; Verna Jarman & husband Mike, Bolivar, Missouri; Six grandchildren. Elizabeth Jones, Jeremy Pember, Blake Pember, Kevin Pember, Derek Pember, Jaxson Pember.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Kevin Pember.
Funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Jetmore with the Rev. Marvin Ewertt presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday and Monday at the Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be sent to the United Methodist Church, in care of the Funeral Home.
