Earl Mcbride's Obituary
Larned – M. Earl McBride, 95, died January 22, 2011 at the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned, Kansas.
He was born September 2, 1915 at Kinsley, Kansas the son of Edgar and Elsie Miller McBride. He was a Farmer.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church and former member of the Golden Chain Chapter Eastern Star, both of Lewis, Lewis Masonic Lodge #220 Thirty Second degree Scottish Rite Mason of Wichita Consistory.
He married Fern Myers on April 30, 1937 in Fellsburg, Kansas. She survives.
Other Survivors included: one son Terril McBride, and wife Christina of Chickasha, Oklahoma; one daughter, Bonita McBride, Raleigh North Carolina; three grandchildren Kip McBride, Flower Mound Texas, Kyle McBride of San Diego, California, and Noelle Woertink, Flower Mound, Texas; and two great grandchildren; Weston McBride and Tristan Barnett, both of Flower Mound, Texas. The Family would like to extend their greatest appreciation to the caregivers of Earl; Dr. David Sanger, Janice Durler, RN & husband Steve, Bridgette Thomas, Sherry Colglazier, Phyllis Agee, Julie Snodgrass, Kylie Perez, Darlene Befort –Medina, Judy Redding, Taylor Galliart, Tonya Schadel, Trudi Eldridge, Diana Pekarek and Kathy Glaze.
Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Lewis with Rev. Dennis Kuder presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday and Tuesday at the Beckwith Mortuary 916 Main St, Larned. Burial will be in the Wayne Cemetery, Lewis, Kansas with Masonic Graveside Rites given by the Lewis Lodge #220.
Memorials may be sent to the Masonic Lodge or Lewis United Methodist Church, both in care of the Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
