Edith Joy Marshall's Obituary
Pawnee Rock – Edith Joy Marshall, 75, died January 24, 2009 at her home, Pawnee Rock.
She was born July 4, 1933, in Finney County, the daughter of Roy Daniel and Mabel Maude Kitch Jenkins. A Pawnee Rock area resident moving from Garden City, she was a bookkeeper.
She was a member of the Christian Church, Garden City.
On June 28, 1959, she married Larry Hayes Marshall at Garden City, Kansas. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son Larry Marshall II, Great Bend and wife Sheree; a daughter, Paula Marshall-Hinds, Ellinwood; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, and six sisters.
Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned, with Rev. Bruce Adamson presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will in the Pawnee Rock Cemetery, Pawnee Rock, Kansas.
