Eleanor L. Umberger's Obituary
Rozel - Eleanor L. Umberger, 85, died, December 31, 2008 at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas.
She was born November 21, 1923 in Pawnee County, the daughter of Frank C. and Edna DeKalb Brannan. A lifetime Pawnee County resident she was a Homemaker.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women both of Burdett and the D.A.R.
On October 29, 1944 she married Dean Albert Umberger in Rozel. He died September 23, 2001.
Survivors include; a son Greg, Rozel, daughter Gayle Cornwell, St. John; a sister, Francis Seibel, Newton; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Winifred Newman.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. John Hester presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Beckwith Mortuary. Burial will be at Larned Cemetery.
