Obituary

Elmer Clyde Kasselman, 79, passed away September 23, 2024 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

He was born March 30, 1945 in Great Bend, the son of Emmett "Johnnie" and Norma P. Argyle Kasselman.

A lifetime area resident, he was retired from Larned State Hospital. He was of the Methodist Faith and enjoyed farming with his dad and gardening.

On July 25, 1992 he married Vera Lee Leibrandt Stacey at Larned; she survives.

Other survivors include: two step sons, Mike (Tina) Stacey, Great Bend, Tom Stacey, Larned; step daughter, Staci (David) Renfro, Omaha, Nebraska; brother, Willard "Woody" (Luellen) Kasselman, Ohlsburg; sister, Edna Dutton, Yuma, Arizona; sister-in-law, Alta Kasselman, Pawnee Rock; eleven step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Keith Kasselman.

Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2024 at First Christian Church, Larned, Kansas with Pastor Damon Bradley presiding.
